Believe it or not, summer is right around the corner. Now is the perfect time to start planning your Summer Bucket List and get ready to kick back and relax after a long school year of hard work. And what better way to unwind than by diving into some amazing books? We've rounded up the hottest, must-read books of the summer that any high school student in grades 9-12 won't want to miss out on:
Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross: I think what I love about this book (and its sequel) is that it has a little bit of everything for everyone - history, mythology, romance, magic, mystery, adventure, war, and diversity.
The Scarlet Veil by Shelby Mahurin: This is the right way to do a vampire novel. This was enchanting and so mysterious; I couldn’t put it down!
Where The Dark Stands Still by A.B. Poranek: Barnes and Noble just picked this book as their Young Adult Book Club Pick for the month. No surprise there because it’s outstandingly beautiful!
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir: While this is not a newer release, it is one of my all-time favorite books and one I always recommend to any person looking for a non-stop amazing read. This is currently in the works to be a movie starring Ryan Gosling.
Atomic Habits by James Clear: Another oldie but goodie - this is a perfect summer read to learn how to break the habits you aren’t fond of and form ones that will change your life for the better.
Whatever books you may choose to read this summer, I hope they take you on the greatest adventure yet. Happy Summer Reading!
